The Borough of Spring Lake incorporated in 1892 from portions of Wall Township. In 1903, The Borough of North Spring Lake, incorporated 1884 from Wall Township, merged with Spring Lake.

The Boardwalk, a view of the boardwalk and Ocean Avenue, back in the 1910's.
The Casino, a view of the building, 1910's. Was a major social spot for this area. Was first known as the Bath and Tennis Club located on New Jersey Avenue.
Saint Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, a view thanks to Hills Pharmacy.

The Pharmacy, a view from the 1910's. Hills Pharmacy was located here. This was his second location, built in 1901 on Third Avenue.
Saint Catherine Rectory
Saint Catherine, a view of the cathedral, 1900's. A memorial to Martin J. Maloney's daughter Catherine died at the age of 17. The second picture shows Saint Catherine’s Rectory.

Jack Sullivan's Hotel
Jack Sullivan's Hotel, located on Fifth and Morris. Once known as Jack Sullivan's Lodge with Tommy Miggins at the piano. Also music by Kenny Davern ruled the scene back then!
The New Monmouth Hotel as it appear back in 1910. This building opened in 1904. The first building, completed by March 1876, was destroyed by fire in 1900. Also this area was considered Spring Lake Beach then. Another view, as it appears back in 1910. Another view in color. Closed down in 1974. Last view, from a party boat, 1964.
